BettingSponsors.com is an independent editorial directory documenting gambling and betting sponsorship deals in world sport. We are not affiliated with any gambling operator, sports team, or regulatory body.
We do not offer gambling services. We do not take advertising from gambling companies. We do not promote or endorse any betting products or operators.
Our sole purpose is to document, research, and publish data on the scale, history, and evolution of gambling sponsorship in sport.
Why This Exists
No single comprehensive resource existed for this data. Journalists writing about gambling sponsorship had to piece together information from club press releases, archived news articles, and scattered databases. Researchers studying the normalisation of gambling through sport had no canonical reference. Regulators and policymakers lacked a clear picture of the true scale of gambling visibility in sport.
We're building that resource.
Our database currently tracks 487+ deals across 24 sports and 36+ competitions worldwide, with historical data back to 2002.
Methodology
We compile data from multiple sources:
- Official club and operator announcements
- Press releases and regulatory filings
- News coverage from established sports and business publications
- Wikipedia historical records (cross-referenced against primary sources)
- Wayback Machine archives of club websites
- Community submissions and corrections
Every deal in our database is verified against at least one primary source before publication. Where deal values are publicly disclosed, we include them; where they are not, we leave the field empty rather than speculate.

We take accuracy seriously. Despite our verification process, errors can occur—dates may be incorrect, deal values may be misreported, or sponsorships may be missing entirely.
